The recommended dose of Emend (Aprepitant) is 125 mg taken by mouth, 1 hour before chemotherapy and 80 mg once daily in the morning for the next 2 days following chemotherapy.
Emend (Aprepitant) can be taken with or without food. It should not be taken for longer than 3 consecutive days during each cycle of chemotherapy.
